Arrival day for the meeting is Sunday July 5th, 2009.
Lectures are in Building G on the Middelheim Campus of the University of Antwerp.
Rooms are in the student dormitory, Building D, just behind building G.
How to get there from Brussels Airport
In the arriving hall of the airport go diagonally to the right hand corner and go down to level 0 (marked for busses and taxi). Leaving the building turn right and after about 100 meter find the platform for the SN BA-bus to Antwerp (cost : 10 euro). Leave the bus at terminal stop, the Central Station of Antwerp.
How to get there from Central Station of Antwerp
In the street parallel with the station (facing the station coming from SN BA-bus : Pelikaansstraat) take bus 32 to Middelheim Campus of the University of Antwerp. After a 20-25 minutes bus ride you will see a cemetery on the left of the bus. Ring the bell and get off the bus at the next stop. Still having the cemetery on the left you now are just in front of building G on the right. Go through the gate and pass building G to building D behind it.
Go to the entrance of building D facing building A (on the right) and enter the building. Doors should be open. In the first room on the right (no door in this room) envelopes with key for the room and electronic card for the front door are on a table there, pick the envelope with your name ad go to the room (number on envelope). In principle the door of building D is open the whole day on July 5th.
Very late arrival
If you arrive late and no bus is going anymore stay one night at Hotel Florida, just opposite the Central station. If possible warn F. Van Oystaeyen beforehand (fred.vanoystaeyen@ua.ac.be).
Breakfast and lunch
We plan to offer breakfast; lunch is in the in the cafetaria of the academic hospital. Participants receive a small fund (15 euro per day) to cover living expenses, this suffices for having a dinner in a not too expensive restaurant.
Travel Expenses
Will be paid to you in cash, probably on July 10th.
