Why you don't want the original logo files
The files provided at the official page are made available in all sorts of variants, but there are a couple of flaws to them.
- Unlike the indicated on the web page, the files are only being issued with PMS encoded colors, and not CMYK or RGB format. Read up on those formats here.
The corporate design of the University of Antwerp was established 2006, mainly directed by the Antwerp-based KAN design group. It provides a logo, official colors, a font, and basically covers all the basic needs.
Unfortunately, it leaves some holes with respect to scientific applications. Some of the most striking shortcomings include:
- Unavailability of the corporate design font.
