Research in mathematics
My personal interest in mathematics is very broad.
Having combinatorial geometry as a home
base, more specifically the study of spatial line configurations, I am
attracted by problems that are
connected to algebraic topology (knot theory), combinatorics
(graphs, (oriented) matroids, lattices), mechanics (rigidity of
structures, singularities of motions) and algebra (Grassmann-Cayley
calculus, Hopf algebras).
Since 2005 I like to be involved in geometric questions in computer vision.
